The first snow came on December 3 and was my first capture of our hemlocks in winter. Such a beautiful sight after the storm came to rest. The air was still when we finally began clearing the snow. It was a peaceful time to shovel the backyard deck, watching day turn to night, the moon revealing itself through a small patch of blue. It was magical.
For me personally, 2019 was a good year. I reached some goals and kept moving forward. Winter is long and not my favorite season so I’m planning to get outside more because being in nature always make me happy, however big or small the adventure may be.
Looking forward to sharing more as we welcome January 2020. Happy New Year!
